My mother used to be an educator was super-active and avid about us achieving our version of the American Dream in this country but often realizing that our schools sometimes are not set up to support immigrant students. My family is still in Florida and yeah, what’s brought me to the education space has been my experiences in the classroom both in Argentina and the United States. I am an immigrant myself, I am from Argentina, had my elementary school years there and immigrated to Florida for middle school and beyond. I’m actually based here out of San Antonio, Texas.
